Retake the Net was an initiative for projects and actions related to keeping the internet free and open.
We started Retake the Net to stop lamenting and do something concrete: retake the net to create new and positive things – be it content that can be shared and used under friendly licenses, infrastructure that can route around controlled networks, or ways to circumvent censorship.
